How Do I Vote?
Owners and site visitors alike have told me the voting on this site is confusing, so I'll explain how it works.
To vote for your three favorite displays, you must go to the main Tacky Lights page (with thumbnails of all the displays) and click on the "VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITES" button on the upper right of the page.
A second small window will open that will allow you to pick your top three favorite displays by list number.
(i.e. To vote for 1601 Collingwood Road, you would select 14)
All three drop-down number boxes will contain all the active displays currently on the list.
Select your three favorites, in order, from the drop-down lists, then press the "VOTE" button.
You may select the same display for all three choices.
Please Note: The RATINGS that appear on the individual display pages (Classy, Easy on the Eyes, Regurgitated Christmas, Seen from Space, and Holy Moly) are totally unrelated and have no bearing on the Top Ten.

More About Voting
The votes are weighted based on your choice for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Your first favorite will receive 3, your second favorite will receive 2 and your third favorite will receive 1.
For web page appearance only, all votes are multiplied by 10. For actual vote count, divide by 10, or you may hold your left mouse button down and scroll over the "Where They All Stand" pole graphic and the actual votes will appear in the pole.
Please Note there has been substantial abuse of voting (voting more than once).
When I find this has occurred, I will reset the number of votes for the display(s) experiencing the abuse.
I will eventually fix the voting code to prevent multiple voting but until then, please understand and don't take offense.
Personally, I love all the displays on this list. You are all #1 in my book!
